The staff wasn't very attentive. Having to wait constantly for them to notice our table, even with all our hands up and us actively calling to them. Just wanting to order took 15 minutes and then trying to tell we wanted to pay and leave also took about 10 minutes of them just walking past us depsite our calling. Eventually just went inside to pay. We also had to ask for the menu.
Getting the food also took forever, and when we were here it wasn't busy at all. Only 5 other tables where occupied.
Food was fine but not well seasoned at all. Wish I brought my own spices. We had a pizza, a goat cheese salad, and a tuna salad.
We were on a bike trail and found this nice Italian restaurant which has both indoor and terrace dining and is located in close proximity to the sea.
Pizza was fresh and delicious and so was the pasta. Staff were friendly and recommend coming here.
I can't believe it's taken 36 years to have encountered what is without a shadow of a doubt the worst pizza I have EVER eaten in my life. Out of the 5 pizzas we ordered for home delivery not a single one came close to being considered edible.
Some alternative uses we have identified for the pizzas were:
- frisbee
- rooftile
- body armour
The pizza base for each was bone dry and rock solid. It was great that the pizzas were pre-cut because I don't think we would've been able to cut them ourselves with standard cutlery .
The dryness of the base can probably be explained by the fact they were exceptionally stingy with the tomato sauce and every single other topping on the pizza. Considering the average price for a pizza is about €14 I really think it would've been possible to let go of war time rationing standards
It was a great pleasure to be here, food, wine, service, kindness, ambiente, comparedto price ratio...everything fine. What can be improved...just a bit more tomato sauce 🍅 on the pizza...finally 5 🌟, thanks a lot and go ahead.
Food was ok, the staff taking food orders wasn’t very attentive not even bothering to give us menus, all business and no smiles. Staff members who arrived with our food had much better attitude. Sitting by the water was nice but the passing traffic made for plenty of noise. Very busy on weekends.
Staff were ok, did not engage with me as I wasnt speaking Dutch to my Dutch boyfriend. We a plate to share and drinks, good price but unfortunately due tot he area there were quite a few flies, nothing they could've done as we were outdoors. Overall it was a nice place for a quick stop.
Really marvelous food, tiramisu, coffee and pizzas
We had to ask twice to order drinks, three times for menus, and every order we made took over half an hour to arrive.
It's a shame the service was so bad, as the location, food, and setting was quite nice. But the arrogant unfriendly attitude of the waitstaff was intimidating and rude.
It was so bad, we even had to fetch our own cutlery from a waiters' table while the waitstaff stood around chatting.
Definitely not what I expected for a restaurant holding itself out at a high standard.
